Project details

The Conservation Commission hired forester Ron Klemarczyk to update a management plan for the Salem Town Forest. The original plan was completed in 1988. The new plan was prepared in October 2010. It includes goals and objectives and information on the history of the site, forest types, potential timber harvest volumes, and recommendations. Copies of the Town Forest Management Plan are available for review at the Town Hall and online at the link below.
